| Local chefs Angela Davenport and Linda Hyatt will prepare and cook your dinner party food, deliver to the cottage and serve.
They'll arrive an hour before you plan to eat, and get busy in the kitchen while you and your guests relax outside in the garden or inside by the fire. Several menus are available, grouped by price from £15.00 - £21.50 per head (inclusive of desert), with optional starters at £5.00 per head. However, Angela and Linda are usually able to adapt to your taste and preference. Please feel free to call to discuss your requirements with Angela on 01298 27730 (early evenings are best). The £21.50 Selection Pork Normandy served in a red wine and Calvados sauce Chicken breasts stuffed with mozzarella cheese and Prosciutto ham and served in a creamy mushroom sauce. Below is a selection of things we have recently created. We are really interested in expanding this area of our operation and, ware willing to experiment, take advice and use other people's favorite recipes (share yours with us?) Tomato and Mozzarella Pie Provencal Pie Spinach and Ricotta Tortellini Nut Stuffed Aubergines Gruyere Roulard with Red Onion and goat's Cheese Ratatouille Stuffed Peppers Halloumi with Tomato and Caper Salsa Crepes with Brie and Broccoli (or Stilton and Spinach or sweet corn, chopped tomatoes and ricotta.) Cherry Tomato Tart SPECIFIC MENUS Below are just two examples of specific menus we have been asked to prepare. We really do want everyone to have the best food and will do our utmost to achieve this. If there is any food that will make your Dinner Party special or that you just like, let us know and, if it is at all possible, we will be delighted to provide it for you. (Example 1) Baked gammon with noisette potatoes, creamed potatoes, a panache of seasonal vegetables, red onion marmalade and peach chutney (Example 2) Roast crown of turkey with apricot stuffing, chipolata sausages in bacon, bread sauce, and cranberry sauce, roast potatoes, creamed parsnips with toasted pine nut kernels, carrots and turnips, cauliflower cheese.
